Kitchen and Conservatory
The kitchen is well equipped, with a fridge freezer, induction range, microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine with grinder, Nespresso machine, toaster, and a good selection of equipment and utensils.
The table in the conservatory seats up to eight.
There is a table outside that seats four.
Bedrooms
The main bedroom has a double bed and nice views down the very quiet street.
The second bedroom has a double bed and its own ensuite bathroom with shower.
The small third bedroom has a double sofa bed, and a desk with lamp for working. It also has a platform that can be used for sleeping for a child or an additional adult.

Bathrooms
There are two bathrooms, both upstairs: a main bathroom with shower in the bath tub, and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. Accessibility note: there is no toilet downstairs.
WiFi and Media
The cottage has fast WiFi (500 Mbps) and a smart TV with access to all the usual streaming channels.
There is a Sonos Five speaker in the kitchen which provides great sound throughout the downstairs. There is a portable Sonos Roam upstairs.
Parking
The cottage doesn’t have a parking space, but there is almost always parking in the village square which is less than a minute’s walk away. Another larger overflow car park is available a few minutes walk down Taylor’s Hill.
Around Chilham
There are lovely country walks on footpaths that run directly from the cottage, from a few minutes up to many hours. The cottage lies on the North Downs Way, which is also the old Pilgrim’s Way to Canterbury.
There are many superb gastropubs and restaurants within a few minutes drive. Kent is a fast emerging wine growing area, and the village has a wine bar dedicated entirely to Kentish wines.
Canterbury is one of England’s most historic market towns, with one of the country’s greatest cathedrals.
Many other charming towns are nearby - Whitstable, Margate, Faversham, Folkestone, and others.
Access
Chilham is about two hours from Heathrow Airport and 90 minutes from Gatwick Airport.
London is very accessible for day trips. There are trains from Chilham directly to Charing Cross (1hr 40 mins) or via Ashford and the high speed train to St Pancras (1 hr).
